Winding Route Planner + Road Trip Guide for the Czech Republic and Slovakia
Roadventura is a website for drivers of sports and classic cars looking for winding, scenic roads across the Czech Republic and Slovakia. It offers a curated catalogue of verified road trips (both weekend getaways and week-long journeys) with detailed route descriptions, GPX tracks and photos. It includes a route planner – enter your starting point, the desired level of winding and the type of traffic, and you’ll get a loop or a route from A to B. You can explore each route in a 3D simulation with an aerial view, descriptions of the current town and interactive scrubbing. No registration required
Roadventura uses four Mapy.com API products. v1/maptiles as the base map layer in all maps (trip catalogue, route planner, route details). The aerial layer v1/maptiles aerial for the 3D “Ride the route” simulation – after generating a route, the user rides the route via a camera with an aerial view. v1/suggest for autocomplete of locations in the planner (start, destination, intermediate stops). v1/rgeocode for reverse-geocoding the towns and villages the user is currently passing through during the virtual ride (HUD label).
