BioLib is a taxonomic database and encyclopaedia of organisms from around the world, featuring an extensive photo gallery, a glossary of technical terms and a range of other sections, including maps showing the distribution of selected species within the Czech Republic.
We use Mapy.cz to obtain GPS coordinates and elevation data for mapping the distribution of mammals, amphibians, reptiles and selected species of fish, invertebrates, as well as fungi, and for related functions. Seznam’s map data serves Czech mappers far better than the data offered by other services.
