A web application for passengers providing real-time updates on the location of buses and trains operating within the Vysočina Public Transport Integrated Transport System
The Mapy.com API was selected as the map service for displaying the real-time locations of buses and trains integrated into the IDS VDV system within the Vysočina Region and its immediate surroundings. The Mapy.com API was chosen for its map display not only because of its readability and clarity for residents of the Vysočina Region, but also for the whole of the Czech Republic. The application can therefore also be used by tourists visiting the Vysočina Region who wish to use the public transport services provided under the IDS VDV.
