Geoguessr – a game based on panoramic photos of the Czech Republic.
A geography game based on the well-known Geoguesser concept. Players find themselves in a random location in the Czech Republic, and their task is to correctly identify their position on the map based on their surroundings. The more accurate the guess, the more points the player scores. The game offers a fun way to discover the hidden corners of the Czech Republic.
I use the Mapy.cz API to display panoramic images (Panorama API) and for the interactive map itself (Maps API), on which the player clicks to guess their location. I chose the Mapy.cz interface for its excellent coverage and the high quality of its panoramic photographs throughout the Czech Republic.
