Discover Scout benches and their stories
This project maps Scout benches - places with a soul where you can pause and appreciate the world's beauty. More than just pieces of wood, they are spots for meeting and contemplation created by Scouts for others. The application displays benches on a map, shares their stories, and allows users to add the location of new benches.
We use the Mapy.com API to display bench locations on a map background, to allow users to select coordinates when adding a new bench, and to enable opening navigation to a specific bench directly in Mapy.com.
