At xzone.cz, we use the Mapy.com API to display carriers’ collection points (currently One and Balíkovna). This allows customers to easily find their nearest collection point, filter by their preferred carrier, and choose whether they are interested only in collection boxes or also in physical collection points. Once a specific branch has been selected, its details are displayed and, upon confirmation, the information about the chosen collection point is automatically transferred to the order.
Currently, the widget is only used by our Czech e-shop; however, we also operate in Germany, Austria, Hungary, Slovakia and Poland, which is why we have tested various map services for each country. In our view, Mapy.com offers the most user-friendly and clearest display, enabling users to quickly find their bearings and easily locate the branch they are looking for. Mapy.com is also used by our customer support team, for example when recommending the nearest alternative if the selected collection point is fully booked.
