An app for quickly checking building plots
AIkatastr.cz is a website that brings together key information on a map for quick checks on land parcels. Users enter a parcel number or address to view an overview of layers – the land registry, orthophotos, the local plan, utility networks, restrictions and their own notes. The aim is to save time during the initial assessment and to easily share the results with a designer or family members.
We use the Mapy.com API to display map data within the app – base maps, orthophotos and panoramas (Street View/Mapy Panorama) – for a quick visual check of a location. We also use it for map interactions (zooming, layers, markers, measurements) and searching for addresses and places. Users can thus easily check access routes, surrounding buildings and the terrain directly from the app.
