PZMK.cz is a tool for estate agents, valuers and solicitors. It offers clear cadastral maps, historical aerial photographs, flood risk layers and links to public registers. The aim is to enable users to quickly orientate themselves within an area, verify parcel data and provide context for valuation and due diligence. We are further developing the project to include data layers (BPEJ, transaction history, etc.) and exports for users’ internal workflows.
We currently use the Mapy.cz API for forward geocoding of addresses for hled8n9. The resulting coordinates are used to pinpoint records on the map and to match them to parcels on the cadastral map. We chose Mapy.cz because of its high-quality coverage of the Czech Republic, its accurate handling of diacritics, and its reliability.
