A web-based Scouting app.
skautIS is a publicly accessible Scouting information system, offering features for members, their parents and friends of the Scouts (Junák – Czech Scouting). For example, the system allows users to view and search for various Scout units and view basic information, manage clubhouses and campsites, and register for selected events. A skautIS user account can also be used on other Scout websites.
The Mapy.cz API is used in the management of Scout bases and clubhouses, where it is used to locate and display the exact location of a property. It is also used to identify venues for Scout camps.
The main advantage of the Mapy.cz API is its excellent mapping data, which enables the precise location of Scout sites, many of which are situated in the countryside.
