Map of historic vehicle meets and events in the Czech Republic and Slovakia
We help organisers of events featuring historic vehicles (cars, trains, military vehicles, etc.) to publicise their events, and we compile a catalogue with a map of these events for the whole year. Most events are organised by volunteers and enthusiasts of historic vehicles for other enthusiasts of historic vehicles. Publication is free of charge and is funded by profits from our online shop.
We have integrated the API into the Irius CMS, and it is available to anyone using this CMS. We used the open-source Leaflet library for this. We chose this API because integrating and deploying it across various projects is significantly simpler than with Google Maps, which, although it has a centralised API configuration, is complicated.
