vysledky.kuzelky.cz
The CKA database of clubs and skittle alleys.
A web application for the database of clubs and skittle alleys on the results service of the Czech Skittles Association (a branch of the national sports federation, the Czech Skittles and Bowling Federation). Users can search for clubs and skittle alleys operating in the Czech Republic, along with related information such as contact details, etc.
We currently use the API in the public section to display the addresses of clubs and bowling alleys on the map. It is also used internally to determine the GPS location based on a given address. The development team has also implemented a safeguard to prevent credits from being wasted unnecessarily; for example, if an address is entered incorrectly and GPS coordinates cannot be determined for it, further checks are only carried out once the address has been amended or corrected. We also plan to use the API as a search suggestion tool for address-based searches.
