The ‘Czech Canada’ tourist region covers an area of 1,200 km² in the eastern part of the South Bohemian Region; it borders Austria to the south and is bounded by the towns of Deštná, Jindřichův Hradec, Nová Bystřice, Slavonice and Dačice.
The name is derived from the natural character of the landscape – numerous bodies of water and extensive forest complexes dotted with boulders – due to the similarity of the local landscape to that of Canada.

We use the Mapy.cz API because it provides the best tourist map data in the Czech Republic.
