Zasahujeme.cz
Tracking current fire brigade call-outs in real time
The zasahujeme.cz project is a modern digital platform that aggregates and clearly visualises fire brigade call-outs across the regions of the Czech Republic in real time. It serves as a central information hub for monitoring current emergencies.
On the map subpage, I mainly plot individual events and their locations; I also display warnings from the CHMÚ and flood alert levels, and finally the precipitation radar. I chose the Mapy.com API because I focus solely on the Czech Republic; for each event, it is possible to view the panorama mode, and in my opinion, Mapy.com has this covered perfectly.
