Information on damaged religious monuments in the Czech Republic
This website provides information, in the form of entries, on damaged and destroyed monasteries, churches, synagogues, chapels, shrines and other religious buildings within the Czech Republic.
It also contains information on religious buildings that were severely damaged or destroyed in the past but were later repaired or restored.
Each building is accompanied by photographs and is precisely located on maps.
Individual buildings are marked using graphic symbols on the map.cz base map. This base map was chosen because of its high-quality aerial photographs, which make it easy to locate existing buildings and record the exact coordinates of those that have been destroyed.
