Removal of the Limitation in the Elevation API

In the Elevation API, we have removed the previous limitation requiring all points within a single request to fall inside a 1×1 degree area.

It is now possible to retrieve elevation data for up to 256 points located anywhere in the world within a single query.

This change significantly simplifies working with larger sets of points and enables more efficient use of the API for global analyses or obtaining elevation profiles of longer routes.
