API key

To make calls to the Mapy.com REST API functions, you need an API key, which is a unique code used for identification.

Managing Your API Key

You can create and manage API keys for your projects in the My Account portal.

  • First, create an API Project for your application or a group of related applications.
  • Then, within the API Project, create one or more API keys (it’s recommended to create separate keys for production and development environments, as well as for web and mobile versions of your app).
  • Don’t forget to properly secure your production API keys.
